Satellite frequencies change frequently. An update refreshes the internal database so you aren't searching for "ghost" signals.
Most stable release is for H/W V2.0. For older hardware, V1.6.2 is the final stable version.
Use the keypad to update the Frequency, Symbol Rate, and Polarisation. Save the changes before exiting.
