Directed by Sudheer Varma, Ravanasura is an official adaptation of the 2019 Bengali film Vinci Da and has an ensemble cast. The film’s narrative centers on Ravindra "Ravi" (Ravi Teja), a junior lawyer who is often seen as a goof-up by his peers. He works under his ex-girlfriend, Kanaka Mahalaxmi (Faria Abdullah), and appears to be anything but a serious legal mind. However, the plot thickens when Harika Talwar (Megha Akash) approaches Ravi to prove the innocence of her father, Vijay, who has been framed for murder. The investigating officer, ACP Hanumanth Rao, grows suspicious and uncovers a web of deceit that points back to the unassuming junior lawyer. The film takes a dramatic turn when it is revealed that Ravi is a mastermind, secretly a serial killer with a penchant for using prosthetic masks to disguise himself and commit brutal murders. The story then becomes a dark cat-and-mouse game between the cop and the "demon" lawyer.
